today
was a really fun day :D
i got to sleep in for the first time in the whole week after waking at 6 something every morning (= sunrise) and getting back when it was dark. sleep is fantastic. i woke up, had time to read my bible in the morning & then watched gilmore girls (woohoo! i found another gilmore girls fan in jane lee :D)
had a very entertaining yum cha with jem, where he ordered everything in canto LOL ! which of course, makes every girl swoon & then we headed to word where i got mia fieldes' album just because the album artwork was from safeway ~~
how awesome is it?
and we met michael w. smith . and learnt about the difference between boys and girls . then we went to officeworks to buy books for new kid impact presents & bought 8 books that we were gonna decorate.
arrived home & realised i forgot my key.. and alas ! my parents werent at home (yeah, they were at the new shoppo ! jealousy ~ ) .. SO.. we broke in ! XD
v. hilarious .
so we got inside & we started on our decorating ~ (and i went to chiro and came back~) we used left over spray cans from the winter sleepout & i think they turned out fantastically :D i would totally pay $3 for one .
anyway, IMPACT itself was AWESOME . like whoa like wow . 8 books was definitely NOT enough for the number of new kids that came (provided they came with ps. steve, but it was still so great anyway) .
the message was SO GREAT . like whoa . he was talking STRAIGHT TO ME the whole time . though when he asked who wanted direction in life, i didnt really put my hand up .. cause it dawned on me that I DO KNOW where im going in life ! which is a really great feeling ~ hahaha .
anyway, it was pretty fantastic seeing God move when we were praying for tongues. i was so excited when i heard crazy mumble come out of jackie's mouth ! man, i love that girl :D its so exciting seeing her grow so much in God ! and then when i knelt down to surrender everything to God .. i couldn't help but just cry cause of the presence of God was so overwhelming. His peace and His love. And it was jackie that was comforting me, which was such a cool turn-around !
another cool thing that happened that night was that one of the girls from ps. steve's church was the OHP girl too :D and so we totally bonded over "easyworship" and she showed me a few tricks ;) and i showed her a few things too. it was pretty cool to relate to her cause no one else understands our pain LOL . *hides under the table when things go wrong*
oh and bryan FINALLLYYY gave me my oreos :D with interest .
so good day . and great week :D im lovin' it .
ps. our clinical placements came out & I DIDNT GET PLACED !! all the kids that did placements with me last year already got placements at different places .. but next to my name .. was BLANK . so im really worried :( 2
