reflective spiritual journal .
so for uni , as one of our assessments for spirituality in health care , i have to keep a reflective spiritual journal to hand in .. and to be graded . sounds simple right ?
instead, im gonna waste time on my blog. doing the exact same thing, yet choosing the less productive of the two.

today i spent 88888888888888888888888888 (eight) hours sitting in a dingy room listening to 12 speakers talking about workcover, superannuation, occupational health and safety etc etc . drain of my liiiiiiiife . however, i do get paid for it :D but i still slept through it .
i did meet two new graduate nurses from acu last year, and they were really gorgeous and nice. it was their first day, and i could feeel their excitement/nervousness! but i totally saw myself where they are in two years ! they gave me a few tips on fellowships&interviews&second year :D

the return of the late night rant
xx its already been one week into uni, while other kids (coughmelbuni) start IN MARCH D: not fair! i think it's because of clinicals at the end of the semester ! i can't wait till clinicals :D two weeks in MENTAL HEALTH zomg & two more of med-surg ! hopefully i get the same awesome people i had on my last clinicals :S but .. ill worry about that when it comes in may ! haha ill probably be at hospital during my birthday too !
uni has surprisingly been really great :D im actually enjoying it ~ my classes are good, people are fun and the content this semester seems a lot more practical .. DRUGS :D MUAHAHAHA ! and i learnt how to give intramuscular injections ! and we got to take a needle home to practice XD anyone want to volunteer ?
xx tonight was manifest rally at gen and it was really great ! the atmosphere there is different from any other rally or concert, the genuine hunger and expectation for His presence is like none ive ever experienced.. but saying that.. to be honest D: i think im going through a bit of a 'drier' (?) season cause sometimes i just can't feel God's presence near..
A line out of Faithful (a Brooke Fraser song) really spoke to me : 'when i can't feel you, i have learnt to reach out just the same' when i heard it, I was like .. GOD ? are you trying to say something? haha . I guess He's teaching me not to rely on that 'feeling' but simply on who He is. It doesn't matter where I am, God is still God.. and He deserves all the praise and GLORY ! :D
xx and so after manifest, saturday night still wasn't finished with us cause we headed over to maccas (& got 3 filetofishes and a happymeal with little miss chatterbox) bummed for a while.. and then we headed (jane was driving me with her NEW CAR :O so jealous !) back to my house to drop me home.. but because i missed a turn, we had to do a u-turn on whitehorse rd.. but mistakenly turned into a street to 3point.. when jane's poor innocent car's headlights found a guy&a girl .. well.. you can finish that sentence ! XD we sccreaaaaaaaaaaamedddddddd and sped OUT of that street (still screaming at the defrauding of our eyes).
as if that wasnt enough, we drove past cat's house (cause jane & cat are so besties now.. and i miss bhs) and finally got to templestowe.. even to MY STREET.. but we got detoured cause someone *cough* suggested we visit mikey.. so we parked outside his house & called him .. to find he was out (on a saturday night? no way !) .. at his cousins house.. and with a slight slur in his speech .. we knew what he was doing there.
.. it just so happened that i had been to his cousin's house before and SO.. we ended up outside his cousins house and gave him another call.. when he came out xD and lets say he was a bit more than his usual jolly self :D which was quite amusing. so we drove around the block for a bit.. and were generally annoying until he told us to go home D: .. so we did.. but not without leaving a note & 'jackie's lipgloss' .
(note: i got home safe after that, cause i am afterall here blogging at 2am)
and with that story that is quite amusing right now, but might not be tomorrow morning..
i sleep.
