ive realised whuh
and i heart
- getting the essay question that i just did a few hours previously, and (hopefully) pwnzing it
- my last exam and being freeeeeeeeee
- the return of the picture message. thank you upgrade applee.
- after exam plans of ragu and oysters
- last uni group gatherings til uni starts up again, 33% bigger choc tops and laughing my face off at Arnold Schwarzenegger CGI's in terminator
- setting up camp in front of the telly with my blanky, rom coms and gilmore girls without feeling guilty
- suwii dates with chocolate mouse and cheesecakes and ranting and suwii
- getting (yet another dotti dress) from $70 from $20
- wearing the dress the next day
- getting through the first 'independent' shift, that i've been freaking out about since the start of the year.
- the proposal. ryan ryenolds. sandra bullock. squeeeeing with idaface and getting stared at by randoms.
- getting ready at lee household for once with ida makeup artist

so yesterday i finished my context exam like an hour early, and i was pretty confident that was all i could write down . (though nothing was on it that me and janey studied! no TPN or diahoerrea or burning up! .
also, i met tim cahill.

yeah, the socceroo.
and got two photos with him.
(yeah, i photoshopped this one, cause it was too white/bright XD but its a real photo srsly!)
why is my head so big? iunno. need xl pillow :)
i think the most exciting part however, was reliving old school stalking times with my jn! how i miss that girl (:
we ran all the way from fed square to flinders all the way down to spring st, and i didn't feel puffed at all :) thank you gym, and adrenaline too i guess.
he was such a sweetheart! he didn't object to any photos, and stayed like half an hour longer than the rest of the socceroos to sign and meet fans. he said it was a pleasure to take a photo with me :D oh gosh swoooon much? but you still swoon me more.. how wrong is that?

It's bascially a blog/website documenting this little girl's journey through her fight with Hepatoblastoma, or liver cancer. Truely inspirational stuff. It really kicks you out of the self-pity parties that we often have for ourselves, when we really, have so much to be thankful for.

Working in hospital/ nursing home, I've come across so many life stories and so many real life love stories. These stories aren't just the happy ending you see in movies, where the wedding bells rings and that's the end.. (cause the real work begins after the wedding ;) ) but stories of lives lived together, probelms faced and overcome, together.
These people really show that love does exist in this world.. even at 96 years of age. It really warms your heart when you see the partner of one of your patients come in and even though their spouse has dementia and can't even talk anymore.. they come in day by day, just to sit next to their love and just hold their hand.
It's not a rare phenomenon, if we work at it, we will all find that one day :) 1

today:

(y) passing and BEING PRO. (she said i was really confident etc etc. i was beaming the rest of the day :D )

(y) boy rant with sarahho on the 19 tram
(y) ridley college courses and 'yeah, my dad went here' and actually being excited about maybe doing a postgrad/graduate diploma at ridley/ bible college.
(y) shopppppingggggggggggggggggggggg (to the amount of $55, 30 dollars under my budget for the day)
(y) studying at cat cheah's mc stalking spot
(y) max brenners with suwii with pro and con lists and hug mugs and waffles
(y) having the bill mixed up with the lady before us and so we only had to pay $6.60 for the lady's hot chocolate cause she accidently paid for ours but had left already
(y) waiting for the tram but then parents driving by at the same exact time and picking me up instead so i didn't have to tram
(y) family dinner at gold leaf with my cutest cousin's children
(y) crab noodles
(y) camwhoring with the littlies. so cute, i swear. i hope my children turn out like them, since it's in the genes and all.

i can't help but think about life. death. love.
and that in the end, it's really all about people
about those that loved and how much you loved
and the impact your life made on others that you'll leave behind
looking at my life, i'm not sure what sort of legacy i'll leave behind..
and it's morbid to think about, but i guess it's due
what if tomorrow never comes..
what will people remember me for?
will my time on earth be meaningless?
what if i never live up to the purposes that God put me here for?
.. i don't know.
i'd like to think i'm getting there
i really do believe nursing is where God want me to be
saving lives. showing compassion. loving the vulnerable.
and i really do try my best in all my relationships
to make time for people and rants and funs
but in the end, will that be enough?

but at least i have my concert funeral all planned :)

i want to be his wife.
not in the way that i want to be zefron's wife
but because he is truly an inspiring guy
the way he lives his life
the way he shares his life through his sermons
the transparency
and the witt
the passion he has for youth and for people
that he's been faithfully serving as a youth pastor
(one of the biggest youth groups in usa)
and now, he's been appointed as the senior pastor
starting in september :)
(and he's only turning 30)
oh and he just had a baby girl, gracie rene.
okay now that was just a little bit creepy.
and it doesn't hurt that he's a pastor's kid.
and wears pink.
oh yeah, watch out world.

had a mushrooom haircut and was SCLUB7's no, 1 fan.
through to the days of legal studies and noterrorismno.tk and i singlehandedly did and we got an A from ms. cas :D .. and nogaryno and fatma and oughh and excuse my language and its okay i cook lamb.
and year 11 formal .
and year 12 formal .
and the days with kalpanee and msn and shmita who told us she was pregnant but she really wasn't but we found out other things .
to climbing 1000 steps and dying but you waiting for me anywy but we made it cause we're the world greatest, we're a mountain peak up high, we're a star in the sky? and yes we had dance moves .
to now, where we're exactly the same cause we're awesome but JUST that much more attractive.

for those who didn't know (cough, jason) the past four weeks i have been doing my hospital placements at como, which is in parkdale. where? near mordiallic. which is what.. 45-50minutes drive away? early starts. late finishes. all that jazz. and i'm exhausted. i'm glad it's all over, but i really did enjoy my time there. i've learnt so much. from being a complete noob, to where i am now (on my assessment tools it says 'proficient' OH YEAH). it's been a blast! i would do it all again, and i wouldn't say that if it weren't for my fellow student, fatima and my awesome clinical teacher, caitlin! i love them to bits, and it was really sad saying bye today :(
