i know very well.

but i'm halfway through now with TWO WEEKS LEFT EVER (if i pass) and i think i'm finally getting the hang of things (: i was just chatting to my VADERCEPTOR today during lunch break and she was just telling me abt the students she failed (by this point i was semifreaking out) and so i stopped her and jokingly asked how i was going and she said i good (:
so yes, it's been good, i think. i've gotten used to the ward, so i'm not just wandering aimlessly around the place looking for linen and i've gotten into the routine of things. well, i'd like to think so. and i think i'm lovely. haha. patients tend to stay a little longer in ortho - about a week or so - so you get to know them. so i was working in room 13 end of last week/early this but the past few days i've been in other rooms, but went into rm13 to help the other nurse and they were all like HII SARAHHH :D heh. i am awesome. one of the patients said i would be a good mother, cause i was playing colouring with one of the little kids ( her name was bella, yes like from twilight hello taylor lautner :D)
so the year is drawing to a close
and all the end of year events and such are happening. this year's pretty special because of graduations and all that jazz. i've got the khoowong dinner on monday, then my grandma's coming on tuesday morning which is dec 1st aka my badge ceremony :D then the saturday after, dec 5th is my brother's graduation and then ida's 18th at night. then it's dec 7th, which is the day before dominic monaghan's birthday.
three days after that, i'm done with placements FOREVER.
and finally, ten days after THAT.. lilychen and myself will be reunited with our suweng
in VANUATU :) :) sexy times to be had.

so i have to say that thought i have amazing friends, i'm still really confused about life and all the jazz and all i want is to get through this year before it will all miraculously start to make sense. hopefully. i just want to be on that beach in vanuatu.
but here we are. [where] the present is more important than the future, [cause] of course you have to think about the future and do things that will make your future better but if all you do is dream about the future then thats no good :P or if you wallow in the past [it's] no good either. we can learn lessons from the past though.
i think it's time to let go of the past and move forward.. though that's kind of hard when you find out that it's your fault things change. i don't know. if it's your fault things change, does it mean that you can change it back? i'm not sure.

painful words.
There's just something about friendship
The simple things like
rocking up at their house with 5 minute notice just because you're in the area
then breaking into people's houses with brooms
grocery shopping for nothing
sitting outside the house in the car just to talk and eat yoghurt
matching jewellery for no anniversary, just cause
and being able to say whatever without holding back
Relationships come and go
Feeling can sweep you up then leave you dry
But friendship is constant.
So really, when those two words 'Just friends' are spoken..
Maybe it's for the better.
Maybe it's the greatest gift of all.

So I'm feeling contemplative and was going to write a blog about how things change, and how we don't appreciate the things we have until that period of our lives is gone. But really, when you think about it, it's all stuff people have said before and if it's not something new to offer, then what's the point of saying it again, you know? I think it's just one of those things that we know in our head, but we need to start reflecting in our attitudes.
It's November already, which means there's 2 months left of the year. 1/6 if you will. Where has it all gone? I don't know. Time doesn't seem to slow down anymore. This year has been crazy fast with way too many rollercoasterlikeemotions to count. (I'm surprised I haven't crash a car yet.. or bust any windows of a car d: )
I'm just at the point where I'm just going to try and forget it all and soak up the last few months before the impending new chapter begins.
However much I deny it, and try to convince myself otherwise, I would kill to be back at this place. I love the sky in sunrises and sunsets. I miss it.
