the year's end.
so i guess it's time to do the year long reflection post. i'm going to adelaide tomorrow and i'm not sure if there's internet there D: so i'll try to be comprehensive as possible as i semi-pack for the city of churches.
where do we start? i think this year has been probably the most rollercoaster-like year of my life. i've had my heartbreaks (x infnity) but really, what are the ups without the downs? so many great moments. this year hasn't been the biggest for epic roadtrips or sleepovers like last year, but for the little moments, conversations and dates that in the end, are what's truly important. it was my last year at uni and filled with placements and experience in my professional area of life. i've travelled and i've reached a few of life's landmarks. i've had those hard conversations that end in tears and others about nothing at all.
it's been a tough year, but the ride was worth the dips.. cause i'd rather live life to the full and experience the hurts along the way than live in mediocrity and have nothing to reflect on. i'd rather a y = sinx life than a y = 0 . yes i am a nerd. you love it :)
i think i've talked to death about my year already, so i won't rehash all the emotional details X) just talk to me and ask me if you want, cause really i love the sound of my own voice :P
so instead, i'll to the typical year in photos/ blog post recaps X) cause that's how we rolled.

vanuatu
so i'm typing this blog from notepad since the internet here is really slow. i haven't had access to the internet on my laptop for this whole time and now i think i've figured out why.. stupid firewalls. i am prow hax0rz srsly. so i've been using my iphone to upload the photos that i've uploaded so far and only now attempting to upload my DSLR photos :)
so far it's been pretty fun. the people here are incredibly friendly, that it really puts us aussies to shame. so socially awkward, srsly. the attitude here is just so chillax.. and well.. happy :) it's really nice here. our place is right in the middle of port villa and the ocean is close than the bus stop is to my house at home x) so it's pretty sweeet.
Yeah, this is my view. Be jealous.

emails.
i think it's getting rare to getting emails other than the facebookspam and various other spams. emails that actually say something, that actually mean something. however, recently with the lovers being overseas i've had the privileged of receiving a few of previously mentioned emails that make you (:

so ok plan for ur ARRIVAL. Thursday - i'll prob still have afternoon at placement..have u arranged airport transfer with the lady? coz zomg notoriously lazy and slow - have to call her to come now and pick u up! else take BUS not taxi!!!
we go ROXY'S at erakor for dinner and sunset - meet beforehand and we ride in bus :) on friday you guys go to national museum - do the tour - walk shops, mebe go iririki (but i dunno if u have to pay for day pass ._____________. ) and then at night we go moonlight cinema at nambawan cafe and watch ICE AGE 3
hahahah it is so cool the setting :) sounds good? sunday we go on the round island tour cos nothing is open on sunday
LOVE IT. FIVE DAYS to the vatu. yes please. it doesn't help after 3 sending offs at the airport this week. the next trip will be FOR ME.

i'm a satellite heart.
gone. the most important people in my life.
suwii. jemface. arman. nanda. my brother. janey. tiff. i feel like im living at the airport now, and i'll be there again this time next week with li off to vanuatu. beach. sun. photos. bring it :)
done. last clinicals ever. preceptorship done.
even after a terrible shift (ended with me crying in the toilets x)) i have to say i had a great time at epworth. i'll miss it. the next time i enter a hospital, it'll be as a registered nurse.

i'm not sure but all the drama that comes with it is with it better be worth it. but right now, i'm happy .. and i miss you.

so the pseudograduation was last night, aka the badge ceremony.
it was amazing :)
two days ago, it looked like no one was going -- amy and diana hadn't bought badges, fran hadn't replied and lucy had placements and neil is a snorlax. but after some convincing, i turned up at 6pm at front cafe and EVERYONE WAS THERE :) :)
the whole ceremony was fairly enjoyable, with all our lectures there to make speeches and such and HEAPSA OF MY PHOTOS were used in the photoslideshowvideolikething :) so proud! the moment standing behind the stage waiting for my name to be called was amazing, as my name was called by the amazing tanya uebergang, i looked into her eyes, smiled and skipped on stage to grab my badge from santha :D with a GO RAHFACE in the audience x) hehe. love my kids :)
i am incredibly happy.
now to get through 8 more shifts of placements!
