also, i am a firm believer in the car ministry. last night, when i was dropping ida home we had the best talk. possibly equalling the epic weekend one of last year that ended at 4am and easy mac (: we talked about boys, friends and impact. most importantly, we just prayed. we prayed with fervor and passion and tongues and yelling. it was amazing. we need more spontaneous prayer. we need more of this power. we need to get back down to basics. 0

so sweet. i love rachel. it's been nearly a term now that i've been leading my group all by myself, and i feel really out of my depth.. but then again, it's been awesome since my kids are like awesome. but to hear it from someone who isn't in my group, and visited once to say that. it's affirming, to keep on running this race, though it gets so tiring. just a few words makes a world of difference (:

star-crossed lovers take their life..
i must say watching romeo+juliet again for the first time since year10 in class, that i love this movie. baz luhmann is a genius! the acting, the sets, the out-of-this-world interpretation, the soundtrack, everything just fit together so perfectly in this bizzare yet fantastic adaption of the screenplay.
honestly, i got goosebumps from the scene when they met. it was so perfect, so romantic. this is the way romance should be done, who doesn't believe in love at first sight? even to the tragic ending, it was so powerful you know? to die for, and in the arms of the love of your life?
i guess, i should stop watching such shows cause in life, these things just don't happen. and dreaming only wounds the heart.

Usually when resolving conflicts I give in first, Say sorry and be done with it. Or even just ignore it, and it'll resolve itself later. I'm not too proud to apologise. But this time, I'm sick of being the nice one, the one that gives in. The one that ignores her problems and concedes in the hopes of saving the friendship. The one that pretends everything's alright, when they aren't. I did that a few months ago, and now I find myself in another situation. This time it's different. I'm not going to plead and beg for forgiveness of something I know (and other's have assured me) I have not done wrong.
My mum says to forget about it, and not even reply. My dad says different. OMTL says stay in the boxing ring... which means what? That I should reply? What's the point of trying to resolve an issue if the other party isn't even interested. I'm not sure.
In any case, this has taught me how amazing my other friends are. I know I rant a lot, but I really am glad that even though this has happened, I'm so grateful for my true friends. Suwii, Li and Cat. Thanks for ranting with me, reassuring me, listening to me and sometimes what's most helpful.. just laughing about it. We can all fit in a car. Yay.

busy.
I'm exhausted! End of third week of university already, It's going by too fast.. but it's been so much fun! I love it. Sucks finishing so late though, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, Tuesday-Thursdays respectively and one class on Monday. So by the end of the week, or by the end of Thursday night, I'm exhausted!
Life doesn't seem to stop, and it won't for the next few days. But here's a recap of what's been exciting since last time.

Friday
I intended to SLEEP IN YAY for the first time in a while (by sleep in, i mean 11amish), then gym it up (cause i haven't for a while lol), then I have KARAOKE !! Straight to impact after that, and then meeting up with uni kids for some.. late night dancing and beverages.
Saturday SLEEP IN again, after possibly late night before, and then head to SOUND RELIEF (the concert benefit for the bushfire appeal) where OH YES, JET, Kings of LEON, JACK JOHNSON, WOLFMOTHER and various other artists will be performing. I am SO EXCITED. Yay. This goes from Noon til 10pm at night. We may leave early and crash Simon's 21st, but depends.
Sunday
My grandma and Kaufu (Uncle) arrive, and they're staying with us for a week or so. Love my grandma! She is awesome. My uncle on the other hand.. scares me. I hope he doesn't eat me in my sleep. I'm so disrespectful! Also, my grandma is bringing my DSLR! YES. That's right. The day has come, my loves.

17 again premier at Jam factory (AGAIN, I don't know why.. it's a terrible place O____o) with my lovely Zefron. He is my boyfriend, so haters please go away. I'd rather stay in my fantasy zefron land than the sad reality that is my life. I need a stalking partner however, because my recent one is attending school that day.

So, the one month to live campaign has begun, the final influx of people have come back from overseas and I've started uni. It's been good, but I'm so tired! I have to get back to early sleeping patterns etc. It's been fun though, uni. I'm so glad to have these crazy people in my life:

We made an Appreciation fb group for our BIOL lecturer (I'm in love with her.. she so smart) on Thursday and.. only 2 days later.. we have 37 members! Awe -- wait for it -- some . I like renal. I like learning about wee wees (aka sheeeee sheeeeeeeee). I think this is gonna be a good year (:
