SWOON
why π isn't 22/7 (it's almost there)
it's a sad misconception by many students that they think π is EXACTLY 22/7. where as the truth is it's off by a stunning 0.001264489. And no that's not very small that's it's insignificant..
basically we all know that π is 3.142
let's just leave it that way a while and check out what 22/7 becomes
3.1428
which of course means when rounded to the nearest 3 decimal figure is 3.143 !!
so now what on earth is π exactly.....
well in mathematics it's called a missing number... it doesn't really exist exactly in any form....
it's kinda like e or other constants..

i'm updating more so to distract jem when he browses instead of studying, he has something to read. noting the careful selection of words. stalker.

in other news, i'm in week 8 of uni now, with two more to go, which is very overwhelming.. and i've applied for a parttime pca job so i'll actually get shifts. was practicing interviewing with my mum last night. meh, do not want. but these are the things grown ups do to get grown up jobs. right?

thoughts.
------ i miss uni kids, and not just my immediate friend group. its only been less than a week but still. i will be sad to finish, cause i know i wont keep in contact with the randoms, and i will miss their faces :(
------- the combination of cow and babbit prompted onto my bedhead makes for a v. comfortable headrest when computering in bed with a blanket/blanky/doona.
------- leeland is my fav. i miss hillsong conference and sydney. highlight of last year. the last night of conference last year was so amazing in the greater sense of that word. i need another one of those moments. hypoxia much?
------------- i love my churchies. don't know what i'd do without them. so bored. loves.
-------- ticking them off one by one. except one. you make me smile. we are mutually cool. but not really. no angsty child. vague much?

Now I realise this post is at 2.07am and thus, it is proven that this it the time that I am at my most emo vunerable. But here we go anyway.
Honestly, I think putting your relationship status on facebook is the most stupid things ever, unless you've been in that relationship for a long time etc. But to change your facebook status as a means of telling your friends that you've changed is really lame.
I guess there's always something about being in that status that kinda .. validates (?) who you are. Especially at the uni age, everyone seems to be paired up, and it can seem like.. iunno. Peer pressure. All that jazz. If that makes sense.
And so, this is where/why we should find our true and only identity in Christ. I am a daughter, a princess. There is no need for validation by your peers or society or even your family. Ida reminded me of this, without even realising. It really stuck.. Sighface. If only this concept was more easily grasped. I'm still trying to get there.
Relationships are a lot more than I like you, you like me. I've heard my share of relationship dramas. Expectations. Future plans. Wanting the same things. Being in the same location. Past experiences even. I don't want to go all this time waiting for the perfect person, and then let it all go to waste you know?
