good furt.

Then God asked Jonah, "Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?"
"Yes," he replied. "It is right. I'm angry enough to die!"
So the Lord said, "You cared about the plant, which you did not labor over and did not grow. It appeared in a night and perished in a night, Should I not care about the great city of Nineveh, which has more than 120,000 people who cannot distinguish between their right and their left ?

Jonah 4:9-11

After much angst and ranting yesterday, this morning I woke to read this. Is it right for you to be angry? Do i have a right to be angry? People are.. people and we've all fallen short of the glory of God. We all get things wrong. We can't even distinguish between their right and left (well, i can't .. since i drove on the wrong side of the road last night =X) we will always get on each other's nerves. but this is life, and we have to get on with it.

Despite all this, God still loves us. He will save us from the disaster penned upon us, as he saved Nineveh. His grace will never fail, if we recognise His words and turn from our ways. All this because He loves us, and that's the simple truth.

So, when the scorching east wind comes, we have to stand strong in our roots. Not letting the birds eat us up. Stand firm, let our roots dig deeper into the everlasting water, and bear good furt.
