elizabethtown

watching elizabethtown. very life-inspirational. i like.

makes me think of things i want to do a la this movie:

1. design a shoe
2. have a terribly long phone conversation with a complete stranger about life and death and randomities.
3. drive half-way to meet someone to watch the sunrise
4. hangout at a cemetery
5. crash someone's wedding
6. learn to dance, to tap-dance. (even tho i thought i did a splendid job last night)
7. get a red hat
8. kiss orlando bloom

random quotes, i think are nice as i watch this movie.

- i dont need an ice-cream cone - something sweet to say that will melt in five minutes anyway.

- you don't need a joke, i like you without the jokes

- martin luther king jr - his death was just the start of his victory

- sadness - is surrendering to the situation, which isn't always a bad thing

- the pacific north western salmon beats itself bloody on its quest to travel hundreds of miles upstream, against the current, with a single purpose: sex, of course.. but also ..life.

and this song..

Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.

Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,

Moon River and me.
