canberrraa .

Canberra (pronounced /ˈkænbɹə/[3]) is the capital city of the Commonwealth of Australia. With a population of over 334,000, it is Australia's largest inland city. The city is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory, 280 km (170 mi) south-west of Sydney, and 650 km (400 mi) north-east of Melbourne. The site of Canberra was selected for the location of the nation's capital in 1908 as a compromise between age-old rivals Sydney and Melbourne, Australia's two largest cities. It is unusual among Australian cities, being an entirely purpose-built, planned city.

Canberra, a place where:
- they don't have sliding doors (resulting in an embarrassing situation where we just stood in front of the door waiting for it to open for us and walking up to the other window and then back again)
- the maps are wrong (it definitely wouldn't be that ~we~ were lost.. going around the same road over and over again, cause the place is seriously that small . )
- where seagulls are incredibly annoying (no wait, that happens everywhere..)
- nasi lemask is sold for $5 at a high commission and there is free water and a little old lady that cleans .
- where malaysians of australia unite and talk about their children who do dentistry and shutter speeds, over the $5 nasi lemak.
- the national museum holds phar lap's heart (in melbourne, we have phar lap herself :D) and hills hoists and the field of australian dreams .
- its so boring you want to get out of there as soon as you can, even if that means driving 7 hours and 15 minutes (not 18 minutes) back home.

but it was still fun (: and worth the lack of sleep and numb butt .

oh, and we went to wangaratta on the way back to see the fan family (:
