one of the best days ever.
i thought id better post about yesterday before it was too late and my procrastinating got the better of me. cause basically yesterday was one of the best days ever XD this is gonna be one long post . so hold on to your seats .
er its actually 2 weeks after the event, so i guess procrastinating did get the better of me .
i woke, showered, got ready and started my day with a walk in the beautiful sunshine to the bus stop . i got to uni early, so i walked to the park and sat on the swing & called jn - who informed me that she got off work for the day and thus .. she could go see the socceroos with me :D YES THATS RIGHT . the socceroos were having an open training session at Princes Park that day ! we only found out the night before, so she had to work .. so i was gonna still go but by myself xD . PERFECT . the day was getting better already ..
after my one hour tute, i headed into the city for some breadtop at QV when jn smsed me telling me that socceroos jerseys were on sale at rebel sport . since i was already there, i checked it out - and there they were . $70 from $130 . and just in my size . coincidence ? i think not ! i promptly purchased it, an item thats been on my wishlist for the past year - with a saving of $60 !
very pleased with my bargain, i strolled down swanston wondering what to do next when suddenly i heard my name . i looked at the girl who called out, took a second and realised it was SHI ANN ! one of my besties from high school that i havent seen in months ! she had to go pretty quickly as her family was waiting, so we hugged and farewelled and as soon as i turned around ..
there was stephanie rachel yap ! she was on her way to school (even though it was about lunchtime then :P) and since i had an hour to waste, i followed her to school - no other than macrobertson girls . [though before we went shopping, and we got two belts for $3.75, orginally $15 xDDD ] she showed me around a bit and showed me jane's locker .. and another coincidence .. jane was there ! :D so i surprised her and she was headed to jam . so i went along :D
jam was really awesome . the girls shared their testimonies, and one of their stories really spoke to my heart. it showed the real significance and results of prayer and intercession. how a simple prayer can go so far. andd i got a chinese takeaway box for being new & jane made me a honoury member :D i was on the roll and everything . and jane told her testimony too :D and i was completely proud of her . woohoo jane :D
they had class, so i headed back to the city - to meet up with jn at melbuni ! i took the tram straight from macrob to melbuni - how convenient , and read my bible on the way up . i met up with jn and her friend (whose name escapes me) and went to their QM lecture about statistics D: normal distribution , standard deviation etc . yuck commerce subjects .. i did however see bryan's friend , jon which was interesting . but mainly, we were just counting down to when the lecture would finish and .. WE WOULD SEE THE SOCCEROOS !!
i finished here about a week ago, so i thought id just post it .. and let jn's post following do the rest . so read on ! 1
