painful words.



There's just something about friendship

The simple things like
rocking up at their house with 5 minute notice just because you're in the area
then breaking into people's houses with brooms
grocery shopping for nothing
sitting outside the house in the car just to talk and eat yoghurt
matching jewellery for no anniversary, just cause
and being able to say whatever without holding back

Relationships come and go
Feeling can sweep you up then leave you dry
But friendship is constant.

So really, when those two words 'Just friends' are spoken..
Maybe it's for the better.
Maybe it's the greatest gift of all.
