sorry for the delay of the very long post, but ive really just been too buggered to write anything meaningful (: just so jason is satisfied, here's the last survey that ive been saving till the very end of the year. i think it sums up the year pretty well (:
1.) Was 2007 a good year for you?
i could write an essay on this topic and get more than 33 . Initially i would have said NO . compared to the past two years which were awesome, this year was definitely a low point for me.. uni was not what i expected, i was lonely and i was just erm not enjoying it . but looking back on the year with my now earned perspective, i see a lot of good moments and memories.. but most importantly, how much i have learnt about the world, about myself, about others and about life . a big learning curve for me, which i wouldnt have if it had been all smooth sailing..
2.) What was your favorite moment/s of the year?
many ferris wheel moments. d&m moments. the little things in life that make you smile. hanging out with my family more. ps/manifest conference . getting Ps . oh and meeting socceroos/zefron (:

quite a few. general lonerisms of uni. failing aseptic tech. that one week in july.

on the banks of the yarra under the fireworks with the coolest kids in the world. my balwyn bffs & bolys . it was pretty much perfect .

thats how fast this year has passed by, and as we come to the closing of the year, id just give a little trip down the lane that was 2007 .
the year started perfectly, with my best buds & my beloved bolys by my side ..
the holidays flew by, spent mostly with these awesome people
and a trip to malaysia..
we came to the first official meeting of BOLY for 2007
and a few camps..

so i got the job ! the day after the interview i got the call from winnie :D how eager .
but there were a few complications ..
the main one was me going to japan D: she told me that training started on january 21st, but i told her i was going on holiday on the 28th, coming back febuary 11th (monday) . and so because she wanted me to have 'continuity' (psshh) she postponed it to 18th feb .. which was fine, so i hung up.
i got on my uni website .. and guess what ? i start ON the 18th of FEB ! :O asdfjkl; why so early ?? crycry . (i think its because easter is early this year (march 20something) and so we're having a shorter term) and so my mum tried to change my plane ticket to the 10th so i could come back for training on the 11th . we even went to the malaysian airlines head office in the city to no avail . im on the waiting list .. but theres a low chance ..
so i guess ill have to stick to the 18th and miss out on the first day of uni ? and thus, not go to first tutorials and miss out on making friends and things like that . and also, if she finds out that my uni starts the same time .. she might think im irresponsible for skipping uni ?

also she told me that she couldnt reach my boss at safeway for reference . so she asked me to ask my boss to call her . how random ! so i typed up a letter and headed for work.
i walked in, with just my wallet,phone and the letter in an envelope in hand. i got to the service desk and asked for Yasmin (my boss, who is really nice and i love her) and while i was waiting, Rob (the second in command after yas) saw me and with huge eyes O_____O
he said .. '..whats that ?' pointing to my letter .. "are you resigning?"
to which i replied .."no, why.. do you WANT me to resign?"
"No! just whenever i see someone with a letter, i get scared.."
haha he's so cute XD but yes, i gave explained the situation to yas, and hopefully she's called them already and everythings good in that department . *fingers crosssedd* 4
so im at uni right after finishing my oh so scary interview at st v's.
and it was.. well.. i thought it went really well :D
(and hopefully by me getting a call in the nex few days will confirm that xD)
i was interviewed by two ladies, Alison and Winnie, st v's & mercy respectively.
they asked me about me (which of course, i love talking about me, so that went well..)
and how much i knew about the departments (yay for google)
and told me about hours (zomg such long hours >________< but i dont mind :D)
and it felt like forever .. but it was only 20 minutes .
and they asked me if i had any other questions, and i said not really ..
but then Alison said.. not even about the salary ?
and i said .. am i allowed to ask that ? *laughs*
she laughs too and says sure ..
& yes guess what .. its $16.something x25% !

exhausted, yet i have time to blog.
its been such a packed weekend !
friday: youth end of youth break up at westerfolds park & then my house (including kk presents :D thank you jason for my present courtesy of YOUR PANTRY >=( but (y) for the songs that will soon be appearing on youtube though i think deleted the tofu song D: so you have to record for me again ask my kk present :D)
saturday: work from 8-1 with the dreaded christmas crowd which meant non-stop for 5 hours (SERIOUSLY, who shops at 8am on a saturday morning ??? SLEEP IN PPLZZZ ), then straight to practice at church, came home and fixed up video with maria's help :D talked to JackO & got ready for the christmas celebration.
christmas celebration went all according to plan (well at least, if any mistakes were made, they werent noticeable). we had tons of food (meaningn leftovers for sunday & for the rest of the weekkk -______-'' ) and small talk .. then headed for the sanctuary for the program ! the skit and my big face on big screen which went perfectly .. but so quick ! after all the hot and late night practices it was all over in a flash !
after the christmas celebrations a few of us went to Barkly's for a few drinks (thanks marky!), talked about drum mikes and things, but were all pretty knacked and then headed home .
sunday: church bright and early, where worship was awesome and the video for MAP was stuffing up and thus i was very frustrated & ended up sitting on the carpet for the whole service trying to fix it .. and then ida being magical working it in one simple action ! said goodbye to jem who left for malaysia (missing him already crycry) & had leftovers lunch.
took a bus with two adorable kids who were going to the city to see santa (: i was talking to them and the little girl (she was prolly like 2/3) wanted me to sit with her .. we waved at the cars going past and sang christmas carols :D throughly enjoyable bus trip ! got to dallas brooks and met up with linda :D
i hadnt been to city church in years, and although i didnt know the songs.. i had an incredible time . the word really spoke to me -- about holding onto the promise .. though in our human eyes we may think Jesus has let us down, but in His plan.. it is HIS timing that is perfect ! Ps Chad talked about the story of the sick girl (Luke 8:40) . i cant explain it well, but it just encouraged me to hold on and keep perserving onward for the promises He has to give.
after city church, bryan and myself headed down for phoebe&christina's night of the 90's.. but got there an hour late after having intense discussions on the train, shopping for fairybread at Leo's (which sold bread for $9.47 !! so we chose ice cream instead) & getting lost .. but finally made it to see everyone posing as the 90's were.
a night of 7dozen oysters, phoebe's best seller champange and oh.. AWESOMEZZ 90's MUZAK !! we missed out on some of the food, but nonetheless.. the oysters were so good <3 i dont know if it was the alcohol, or a release from the stress of saturday night's christmas celebration.. or the fact that phoebe would be gone for 4weeks .. or if it was just the heaps cool tunes of the 90's but .. everyone went crazy.. interpretive dancing to 90's greatest hits xD .. and not to fear, bryan got it all on camera .. wahahahhahaha .. esp marky's solo :D
and so, here i am.. and after such a hectic weekend.. im gonna just sleep-in tomorrow & watch my OC . mmm i love holidays ! :D

oh & PRAISE GOD for my uni results i got on friday ;) compare from last semester to this is hilarious, but all i wanted was a pass, and God provided above and beyond ! :D so im glad .. and im officially second year & 2 years away from graduation ! wooohooooooooo ! 1
